Cabrini Health – Philips Telemetry Patient Monitoring
Complete architecture design to provide patient telemetry monitoring services over LAN/WLAN infrastructure. Worked closely with Philips on the architecture and designed the from front end and backend device security for securing the Philips services. All front-end Philips devices were onboarded onto the network via the newly designed IDBNS (identity-based network services).
Design allowed patients to roam the hospital while constantly having their vital signs monitored.
Cabrini Health – Datacenter Refresh Program with Medical Record Security
SYMPAN has been engaged to redesign the existing Cabrini Health datacenter considering disaster recovery and building a roadmap for any future cloud-based service additions. The datacenter will be based on an active-active high availability design, providing the hospital with non-stop healthcare services during a failed event or even a scheduled/unscheduled maintenance window.
The Datacenter architecture will also include a roadmap for the virtualized security of all back-end applications and system, especially around securing patient medical records. This is based on VMware’s NSX-T product suite. NSX-T will provide the virtual network infrastructure including all security. The datacenter architecture is based on HIMMS’ INFRAM program.
